NewPASSAGES is awarded three-year CARF accreditation

CARF International announced that NewPASSAGES has been accredited for a period of three years for all of its 68 programs in Michigan. The latest accreditation is the sixth consecutive Three-Year Accreditation that the international accrediting body has awarded to NewPASSAGES.  Below are just some quotes from the CARF Survey Summary:
  • At all levels of the organization and in all activities, genuine and real commitment to the mission, vision and values of the organization is strongly evident
  • The Board is composed of committed members who represent the diversity of the community.  They provide wise and appropriate direction and oversight to the organization
  • The buildings are well maintained, clean and safe.  Their locations promote integration into neighborhoods and contribute significantly to the well-being of persons served
  • The CEO is appreciated for his transformational vision, moving from “good to great”empowering staff through increased control
This accreditation decision represents the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to an organization and shows the organization’s substantial conformance to the CARF standards.
