Congratulations Connie!

  On Tuesday, May 5, 2009, Ms. Connie Fustin was named one of five Spirit of Service Award Recipients at the Michigan Assisted Living Association’s (MALA) Annual Conference.  The award was co-sponsored by Bator, Berlin, Gwinn, and MALA.  Assisted living providers are encouraged to submit nominations each year for the award.  Nominees demonstrate excellence in provider service through their compassion, competence, and creativity.  All nominations are reviewed and judged by an independent panel of judges knowledgeable of the demands in the field.  

Connie was presented a trophy plaque and a United States Saving Bond during a luncheon at the annual event.  Connie is the Line Manager of the Fox River Program located in Pontiac, Michigan.  Connie has worked in the service industry for over 20 years serving persons with developmental disabilities.
