Gentle Teaching - Oakland County Service Area Manager Jim Brooks is taking the lead in the area of Gentle Teaching at New Passages.

Jim has attended several trainings at the state wide level and is pursuing certification as a Gentle Teaching Mentor. In this role he will take the lead on training key residential staff in the art of Gentle Teaching, as well as leading the agency in developing a cultural of gentleness – all in keeping with the Department of Community Health’s statewide initiative.
